Your information, handled with care
A short, plain-language explanation of what this portal collects and why.
What we collect
The portal collects only what you type into its forms: your name, phone number and message when you send a contact request, complaint, suggestion or feedback, and your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter. Browsing the site requires no account and no personal information.
How it is used
Form submissions go to the Panchayat secretariat solely to respond to your request. Complaints are logged with a token number so you can track resolution, and anonymised complaint statistics are reported at the Gram Sabha. Newsletter emails are used only to send village updates, at most once a month.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or share your information with advertisers or any third party outside the Panchayat administration. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking on this site.
Cookies & local storage
The site stores a single preference on your device — your light/dark theme choice — in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device. Embedded services such as Google Maps may set their own cookies governed by their providers' policies.
Retention & your rights
Grievance records are retained as required by Panchayat record-keeping rules. You may ask to view or correct information you have submitted, or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, by writing to gp.gudikal@ap.gov.in or visiting the secretariat counter.
Updates to this policy
